Hampton Inn & Suites Anaheim Resort Convention Center

March 2022, we loved our stay at the Hampton…our first time staying at this location. We stayed for 4 days/3 nights. Booked through Booking.com. We were there to visit Disneyland and Hermosa beach. The front desk staff was very approachable, respectful and always cheerful as we went in and out of the hotel. Our room was spacious: beds were comfortable, sheets were clean, bunk beds were a plus as you can see in the photos, 2 large TVs, a couch, USB ports everywhere, a mini fridge that was always cold and a microwave but we did. It need to use it but very convenient to have inside the room. The bathroom was also spacious and clean with plenty of towels we have no complaints! The hotel had a modified service of no stayover housekeeping services but it did not impact our stay. Breakfast was included during our stay and even though I am allergic to eggs there was plenty to choose from: oatmeals w/fixings, milk/juices/coffee/tea, eggs/sausage/hash browns, pancakes (we had these Saturday) toast/jam, a variety of cereals, hot sauces and more! OTHER Reviews complain about the breakfast, this just is not true the hotel was more than generous. They had coffee until late at night as well light/dark/decaf and hot water for tea. Splenda and regular sugar too. My spouse and child too advantage of the pool and really like it and the jacuzzi as well, pool was heated. Yes there is a daily parking charge $26 but it did not impact our stay. Hotel was 10-15 min walking distance to Disneyland parks and downtown Disney, very easy to walk. Lots of restaurants/coffee shops and a Walgreens was near our hotel. 8 min away from the hotel was the Anaheim Packing District (many restaurants in one area). We are looking forward to our next stay at this hotel!

Likes: Room and bathroom looked and smelled clean. Simple modern decor. The soap was ok, it didn't make my hands sticky nor leave white marks after washing my hands. The Zero brand for shampoo, conditioner, shower gel smelled so good *zero harmful chemicals I hope*. The conditioner actually conditioned my hair and made it feel smooth unlike some hotels' hair products- that's why I always bring my own. I like the smell of the Zero so I used it and it didn't disappoint. Bed was comfortable. No stains, pillow was just right, not too thin, not too soft. Breakfast was decent. I liked that eggs were NOT salty. Spacious breakfast area and homey lobby. Dislikes: 1. I might have overlooked the parking price when I was booking. I was kind of surprised about it- I thought it was free. The price was at the gate when we entered the property. 2. I and my little family wokeup at past 4 AM because the guests next door were TOO LOUD. Our room and their room have a connecting door. I had to message the hotel through booking.com app asking for help because they were disturbingly loud, talking loud, closing their door loud, etc. before 5am. I'm not sure about the hotel's noise policy. I asked for help but I did not expect help. No reply, btw. What would they do? Ask them to be quiet? Ask them to leave? I don't think so. Unfortunately, these guests don't know respect and consideration. It's sad. I will remember to bring my earbuds next time...The noise went on for about an hour. I finally was able to force myself to sleep again when they left before around 6am. (Yes, I slept late, we came from Disneyland.

Breakfast was handy to eat early before we walked to Disneyland. The pool was fun for the kids and we enjoyed lounging in the sun. There are enough different restaurants to eat at around for lunch and dinner. It took me 20 mins to walk by myself to Disney and clear security. I walked through the Garden Walk to save time. With the kids, it took us about 25-30 mins.

we always stay at this hotel when we are going to Disneyland! the price is fair, and the breakfast included and location cannot be beat. it’s less than 7 minutes to walk to the toy story lot, to jump on the bus to Disneyland! best part about that is you don’t have to pay for parking at Disney, since you are leaving your car at the hotel. It makes such a difference to come back to a clean hotel with plenty of space after a long day at the parks. we got a queen studio suite this time around, and even with our 4 kids, it still felt like a huge room.

The location for us we great! walked to the shuttles to go to Disneyland , restaurants across the street. we haven’t stayed in hotels for years as we prefer Airbnb . Airbnb offers far more room, elegance, comfort and simplicity as well as a better value for the money. We found that an entire house can cost the same as one tiny hotel room without all the amenities. But this hotel was VERY clean, comfortable and streamline. The cleaning staff, and staff in general are Excellent! very accommodating, friendly and gentle. Front desk staff are friendly efficient and engaged. The hotel should know they have Gold in the staff they have there. Great stay
